Photos of the 65th Anniversary reunion are posted on Flickr.
If you want to make your own prints of one or more of the seven 65th anniversary Daily Titan Era Posters, click here to download the bundle as a zip file. Posters 1—5 are newsroom, and 6 & 7 are advertising and marketing. They can be printed in almost any size at many drug stores, Fedex print shops and Walmarts.

No 60-year reunion was held during the pandemic era, so the 65th anniversary attendees will have a lot of catching up to do — but a video prepared for the 60-year reunion is linked below.
A note about timing: Easter and Passover fall extraordinarily late in 2025, well after the usual college spring break season. The reunion is being held on Wednesday noon through Friday afternoon to better fit with COMM Week 2025 and to avoid post-holiday weekend flights home.
Meanwhile, we’ve posted a video made for the 60th anniversary in 2020, and also Daily Titan’s 50th anniversary story, 50-year print special section and online 50-year special section.
Highlights include:
- Faculty advisers, including Jeff Brody, Tom Clanin, Jason Shepard, Michelle Kurland and Walt Baranger.
- Softball game: Alumni and families vs. current Daily Titan staff on Friday.
- Reception at Alumni House.
- Daily Titan annual awards dinner with alumni honorees.
- Tour the Daily Titan newsroom and meet the current students and faculty advisers.
- COMM Week 2025 events: Opportunities to attend and speak. See the schedule.
Prof. Wayne Overbeck (1943—2025)
Prof. Wayne Overbeck, the adviser who made Daily Titan daily in 1969, died at age 82 on April 12, 2025. He had been looking forward to attending the reunion.
Many of you may remember Prof. Overbeck from his media law class, which he taught until 2002. He wrote a roundup of his amazingly eventful years as Daily Titan’s adviser from 1969 to 1973.
His Facebook page and his Daily Titan history web site have more details of his career.
